Yes we also love this one - We came up with a mixed technic week. One is throwing for the advanced throwers...OR - BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE

The lovely technic of coloring porcelain and making some porcelain jewelry like earrings or a necklace.

8 - 12 July is a bit shorter than our other creative holidays so here is a bit information about the program:

You can arrive arround 16:00 - (everybody can get to there accommodations or pitch your tent) and around 17:30/18:00 we all get aquainted and there will be some demonstartions about the technics we are going to do this holiday. Ideal to combine with our first meal together, our famous ;) - "Tapas night" . Then after diner and some talks and a good night of sleep we go into the program:

tuesday july 9 - breakfast 09:00 and the lessons will start at 09:30-13:00 lunch 13:00-14:00 and an other 2 hours of lessons from 14:00-16:00, after this time you can use the studio untill 18:30.

wednesday july 10 - breakfast 09:00 and the lessons will start at 09:30-13:00 lunch 13:00-14:00, a demo from 14:00-14:30/45 - after this time you can use the studio untill 18:30

thursday july 11 - breakfast 09:00 and the lessons will start at 09:30-13:00 lunch 13:00-14:00, - after this time you can use the studio untill 18:30

Friday july 12 - breakfast 09:00 and the lessons will start at 09:30-11:30 - pack your bags and tents, lunch 13:00-14:00 - and then we say goodbye after a creative week.

Advanced throwing.....

Who decides when you are an intermediate or an advanced thrower. You and your teacher can give a name to it.... Problably it is somewere in the middle and it is more a feeling than what you achieved. So we let it rest a bit, but here is what would be nice for you to know:

- You can throw all kind of weights of clay

- You want to - you can - refine your technics, can be series, alter, etc.

- You would like/can to throw big or want to learn this in seperate parts.

- You know how clay works and keep your own creations on track in your own designated spot in our studio, the teachers do not have to check your work, for example wrap it for a good leather hard stage when needed.

- You would like to practice and refine shapes.

- Open mind for some of our advanced suggestions, etc.

- What you design you can/want to make - learn to look! - we can go in depth with this one :)

Colored porcelain and jewelry making...

Yes we are making our jewelry sinds 2006, the years fly by :)

This week trough demo's and practical lessons we explain how to color porcelain, what you need for this and how ceramic stains work for this... We teach how to create lovely pastel colors and what is needed for the brighter colors.

A face mask is mandatory for making the colored glazes, when made the recipes with dry weight.

And latex gloves for mixing the stains trough the porcelain, but we will send an info mail beforhand.

We also going to create some earrings and/or pendants and show how to work with findings and make the pendant into a necklace. Lots of inspiration in our studio and online....

Dortmitory {Slaapzaaltje} - 3+ persons:

Below you will find the available accommodations for this holiday, we also have a lobvely dormitory (slaapzaaltje) and this can be booked with a minimal of 3 persons and can be used by 5 if needed.

And this one we have not listed below, if you want to book the dormitory please get in contact with us. The price is 300,00 for a minimum of 3 and with each additional person (number 4, 5) it is €50,00 for each extra person...
