Happy New Year!!

Yes a new year! - With plans, dreams and a lot of hard work. This will be a bit in France this month and on the 23rd we will start our Utrecht courses and it is full house....

January 2023

An interesting start of the new year, patients tested, experiences in a colder vibe then we are used to, without gas and all warmth getting from wood - Thank you mother nature - We worked on the studio/atelier and we also have come up with a lovely french name... Ralph did :) "Le Noyer Noir " this is the french name for The black nuttree or in dutch "De zwarte Notenboom" - And yes this is inspired by our own surnames.....

Vink get's a bit used to all the travelling and new spots, she even took a few short walks in the garden on her own.... that is a big thing for her .......

The Studio in France - "Le Noyer Noir"

A lot is done in the new studio/atelier - The previous owners have cleaned it out from most of their things in the past months, items and machines.

Because we have a more than a full operational studio we did not want to have to many stuff hanging arround, will be difficult in time because we have so much ;)

The French Studio Vibe

Just had a little moment behind the wheel. Even in Utrecht (The Netherlands) we do not have or can make the time at this moment to do this more often. This has to do with the new French project but also the workshops and courses take most of the time at this moment...

Brrrrrrrrr...... but thankful.

So this is 1/2 January and yes this is a cold month to be in a (for now) not really heated studio. Ralph put up a little electric heater, just out of the picture and the water i throw with is nice and warm :)

It felt great, different and a bit strange..... but got a bit of that happy vibe!!

A little impression...

So this is how it looks like in January 2023 - The studio is a long stretched one and is divide in to parts, on the pictures you see one of the spaces. This one we already cleaned deeply and gave it a white wqsh on the walls that have brighten up the space big time. We want to embrase older parts, like the bricks and wood but some fresh white layer on the walls made us really happy....

The studio is really empty now, looks great but this is not realistic for the summer ofcourse, than it will be filled with the throwing wheels and hanbuild tables, tools, clay and all the things you need to have a lovely week with clay!! - We are looking forward to meet you and you are welcome/bienvenue! - You can click on the pictures for a better view.
